Enber facilitated the installation of a large-scale solar power system spanning approximately 3 hectares on a single rooftop for a logistics entrepreneur. Our role included securing the grid connection, obtaining subsidies, and overseeing the roof renovation. The result was an impressive solar installation featuring new, white roofing material. Upon completion, the solar project was successfully sold to an investor, ensuring long-term sustainability and financial viability.

The Province of Drenthe strongly values local ownership in renewable energy projects. As a result, we were engaged to support the establishment of a Project Cooperative, conduct a valuation of a floating solar park, facilitate the acquisition, and arrange financing. Since the transfer, we have continued to provide ongoing support to the solar park’s management, assisting them in effectively fulfilling their responsibilities.

SHEC – Klaverblad Noordoost
The local energy cooperative SHEC, in collaboration with the municipality of Heerenveen, developed a solar park on industrial land. Enber acted as an advisor to SHEC, involved in various aspects of the process, including negotiating several agreements and securing financing with a sustainable bank. After multiple acquisitions of already established solar parks, SHEC has now developed a park on its own, fully financed with the help of the municipality. Local ownership at its finest.

Graafsebaan Solar Park is a standout example of sustainability combined with social responsibility. The initiative, led by Cooperative Brabantstroom, aims to generate renewable energy and make it both accessible and affordable for local residents, with a particular focus on social housing tenants. Members benefit from direct access to affordable, locally produced electricity from the solar park’s panels. Enber played a key role in mediating negotiations with the original developer and guiding the project through to financial close, ensuring a successful and socially inclusive energy transition.

Energy Cooperative Enerzjyk Skûlenboarch U.A.
At the Skûlenboarch sand extraction site, GroenLeven, in collaboration with and on behalf of Enerzjyk Skûlenboarch, is developing a 44 MWp floating solar park. Enber prepared and analyzed the business case, providing strategic insights into the project’s financial viability. We are also supporting Enerzjyk Skûlenboarch in negotiations, securing financing, and contract formation. Once operational in 2025, the solar park will generate renewable electricity for approximately 14,000 households, contributing significantly to the region’s sustainable energy transition.
